Karma's a bitch but it can be pretty interesting at times...

Never really did get my finger around this whole do on to others what you would others on to you thingie. Whole notion of a greater force out there ensuring polar opposites of an equation are kept in check to maintain balance. Does karma really exist or work? Well I'm not a Buddhist so my knowledge on the concept is limited at best. Then again most who know me don't even know I'm Christian let alone catholic. So I'm prolly guessing if I was a Buddhist my depth and breadth of knowledge in terms of religious matters and theological concepts wouldn't be anything to shout about. Let's just say I practice the believe and let it be at that concept. I'm definitely burning in hell...lol

Let's leave the state of purgatory aside. I'm sure I'll get to know it well enough not too many decades down the road. What got me thinking was about how we use all kinds of ways to justify our actions, to explain events. It's like some fact finding mission and guilt ridding quest. In essence it's a finger-pointing exercise. In truth most of it doesn't seem to achieve much. Beyond momentary self gratification for some and more pain for most. Yet we still fall down that path more often than not when we're put under the spotlight. Sorry state of affairs I'd have to admit.

Sometimes I wonder why people laud their recent upcomings over others who have fallen short of the finishing line. Or why revenge is so sweet yet so utterly pointless. I'm sitting here munching prawn crackers (one of the great food blessings of CNY) and just wondering bout how things haven't really changed much from a year ago. *shrug* Doesn't really bother me much but it's nice to sit back and actually calmly ponder it and see it from all new angles. I don't feel much about it all. In fact kinda find it hard to pin an emotion of it. Feel like Data from StarTrek or something. Cold robotic shell. Devoid of human emotions.

Still don't get it. Karma. You really there? Ah heck I've got bigger fish to fry in the coming months then spend more time on silly lil things like this. I've got so much more mischief to get up to before I pay a visit to mr two horns and pointy tail...
