Caffeine makes the world go round....

I've been running on java bean vapour the whole day and it's starting to make me jittery...have not felt this caffeinated since I had 4 venti americanos and a double espresso (from lunch till dinner mind you) a couple months back when I used to frequent starbucks mt kiara every afternoon on the pretext of job hunting and studying for my CFA.

It's a peaceful place up in coffee heaven (if you can handle the constant need to squeeze your hands together to stop them from shaking and the constant tapping of your feet that most prolly irritates your colleagues around you). In any case I felt like rambling bout nothingness cause well...I've got an hour or so to kill before heading out. At the looks of things will prolly end up at Alexis with the guys again.

Things are starting to fall into perspective again. Beginning to welcome the sense of security in knowing what to do now. Oh well, enough blabbing. Just sitting here with my glass of fine scotch and a ciggie while waiting for the horde to descend on bangsar once again...

Are you feeling motivated today?

Motivation is generally driven by circumstance, don't you think? So unless the current situation requires you to be so, then why bother? However, the circumstances in this instance necessitates that one must remain motivated. But then again when you think about it, isn't motivation just a crude measure of your level of desperation?

So what's the dependant variable and independent/highly stochastic component in this non-linear and extremely subjective equation? How does the *wiggles fingers* line look like? Am I a freaking outlier from the mean sample of data or am I within the acceptable standard deviation from the line?

*pfft* Was feeling very 5 year old-ish a couple hours ago. And now I just felt like revisiting Introductory Econometrics again. It's really strange how when you want to you can tie anything, and I mean absolutely any damn thing, back to yourself. I guess all humans are self absorbed in their own way...

Nostalgic

It's tough when you meet up with everyone again. Really tough. All the memories just come flooding back in. And then you realise some are missing from the picture...von, dom, bren, mei, steven...Then you realise you're in the wrong setting too. You lean back against the wall and instead of finding london grime on ya you find white chalkie stains. There's no constant drizzle and the passing drunkards, the clanking of empty beer bottles falling from homeless hands, the sirens blazing now and then, minicabs trying to haggle their way.....I miss london. More so I miss being there with the great friends I made there.

Just seems so long ago and now that everyone's gotten on with the inevitable, we're just so separated by distance and time. Sigh am losing touch with some of the best people I've met.
*holds up a glass of scotch* To all you out there. You know who you are...

Who the heck is this guy?

You know sometimes you come across something which just totally facinates you. Might be in complete contrast to who you are or what ya believe in, but it just keeps drawing you back again and again. This time mainly cause it's bloody hillarious and you have to, HAVE TO, leave any sense of moral decency and respect for yourself and women aside and just think of it as one of those exceedingly dumb yet stupendously funny kinda stuff (think along the lines of Harold & Kumar go to White Castle).

Well in any case, if you're not a prude and are up for a good laugh or two and think you won't be too insulted or disgusted, then go check out www.tuckermax.com . I swear I've been laughing my ass off in office half the time when I'm not working.

*Note* I do not have ANY affiliation whatsoever to Mr. Max nor condone his behaviour nor his "liberal" outlook on life. I just enjoy reading his stuff. Gotta give credit to the dude, he has a flair for language lol. If you can call it that...
