This while watching football and stuffing my face with oranges...

 

Me : *Munch* *Munch* *cough* *gag* *choke*

Mother: You better not be choking cause I can't save you....*calmly takes the remote and switches to Wah Lai Toi channel*

Me: *cough* *gag* *sputter*.....

 

My parentals are so loving....And to think that 20 years ago she was some head nurse of dunno what department in god knows what hospital in London and Melbourne. The problem bout having parents who are or used to be in the medical profession is that you tend to go through most of your childhood (and even "adulthood") being home medicated. I swear if the Board of Medicine or whatever they call it here decides to raid our place, we'd be charged straight away for possessing prescriptive drugs in amounts deemed sufficient for intent to distribute without a license. I'm surprised that I didn't turn into some pill popping junky...
